Transforming the learning experiences for students through technology donation at a school for Pakistani students in Abu Dhabi.
Over the years, TT Global Foundation has strived to empower Pakistani youth with the IT resources and tools they need to succeed in the digital age. As part of this ongoing commitment, we recently donated IT equipment to an independent Pakistani school located in Abu Dhabi. This followed a request from the Ambassador for Pakistan in the UAE, Mr. Faisal Niaz Tirmizi. The contribution included laptops, desktops, smartboards, and printers, which will be available for use by many of the 2000 students enrolled in the school.
Established in 1975, the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Pakistani School has been dedicated to providing quality education at affordable costs to students from kindergarten through grade 12. However, for many years, they have encountered difficulties due to a lack of proper IT infrastructure, as confirmed by the principal, Ms. Samina Shaheen,
“Our community school was in dire need of digital resources to meet the international standards of education in the UAE. For the students and school, it was like a dream coming true, receiving such extensive technical support”
With assistance from the TT Global Foundation, the school can now integrate technology into more of its classes. This will open up new avenues for learning and significantly improve student engagement and learning productivity. In today’s fast-paced digital world, tech-based learning is critical to ensure students are well-equipped for their future academic and professional endeavours.
